Yesterday, we made an article and stated that the Battlefield 2042 version 1.2 update goes live on August 02 and now EA officially released the latest update to its newest and most playable game Battlefield 2042 with the version number 1.2. The latest update now offers various new features and changes. You can check the complete changes which are given below.
- Kaleidoscope has been revised and corrected to offer better gameplay thanks to new shelters, new flag positions, new elevation changes and graphical updates of different points on the map.
- The first change in style and tone for Specialists has been introduced, including several updated character models.
- The 30mm gun effectiveness of the RAH-68 Huron and YG-99 Hannibal has been reduced making overheating much faster. This will help limit its impact on the infantry and make it more balanced.
- A page for user profiles and statistics is now available. The page provides an overview of the performance and progress since the game was released.
- The aim assistance on the controllers has been adjusted to ensure smoother smoothness and operation on moving targets.
BSV-M’s auto mode now receives an accuracy penalty, and damage from high stopping hits decreases more rapidly with distance.
EA and DICE also specify that this will be the last update before Battlefield 2042 Season 2: this means that no more updates should be expected before “late August”. The next map to receive a major change will be Rebirth.
The most important update is for sure the Kaleidoscope change. What has changed? The official explanation reads: ” We have overhauled the game space, adding more cover, creating new positions for the flags and improving the pace of the action on the entire map.
