Recently, Google unveiled its latest devices namely – the Google Pixel 6a and Google Pixel Buds Pro but we don’t have to wait for Google’s upcoming next-gen products. We don’t have an exclusive date for you yet.
Nevertheless, we assume that the curtain for new Pixel hardware could very likely fall in calendar week 40 or 41. In any case, that would fit into the rhythm of the past few years. At least one week in October can be expected and this time with more hardware than in previous years.
Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are not alone this time
The upcoming Google event mainly highlights the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. Google already revealed the official look of the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro in its previous event and we also know some hardware information. But the two top models are not left alone.
What is certain is that the Pixel Watch will also receive its final presentation. If nothing goes wrong internally by then. And the Smartwatch is probably not the end of the road yet. There’s potential for Google to talk about the Pixel Tablet again, only this time with a lot more detail on the concept and hardware.
Looking at future projects not unlikely
Now, we are talking about Google’s first tablet – Pixel Tablet/Notepad. The Pixel Notepad has been postponed several times, but will probably continue to be actively developed. At least that’s what the latest finds in the source codes suggest. We’re hoping that Google will show us a bit of its plan for the future of foldables for the Pixel series.
The new Chromecast has nothing to do with the Pixel series with Google TV. There are growing indications of a slimmed-down HD variant that will be cheaper than the previous model (70 euros). I would actually have preferred an upgrade of the previous model, which in my opinion is underequipped.
So there is still a lot to come this year. Google is currently stepping on the gas and wants to expand its ecosystem in many areas.
