In recent days, the possible release date for WoW Wrath of the Lich King Classic was leaked by mistake on the official website of Blizzard Entertainment, then quickly removed. Now comes the official communication from the authors, who reveal when it will be possible to replay the famous expansion of World of Warcraft.
The internal leak turned out to be correct in the end, given that Wrath of the Lich King will make its return in an updated guise on September 26, 2022, at the same time worldwide, as always exclusively for PC. For the occasion, a new, spectacular thirty-second trailer has also been released, aimed at confirming the day on which it will be possible to explore the continent of Northrend once again.
Long-time players, as well as newbies, will therefore be able to rediscover one of the most popular expansions in all of World of Warcraft, which introduces a new, huge scenario to explore, the Inscription profession and several dungeons and raids involving dozens of players.
In addition, in view of the release of Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Blizzard offers players of WoW Burning Crusade Classic an upgrade titled ” Joyous Journeys “, which grants + 50% to the experience accumulated to develop their character.
After the re-editions of Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, fans are wondering if Blizzard will continue on this path for subsequent expansions: the eventual WoW Cataclysm Classic will be done if the fans want it, but for the moment the developers do not they seem to have plans to do so.
