Despite the great success achieved so far, with Diablo Immortal already at 20 million downloads, the free-to-play spin-off of the series by Blizzard Entertainment has been at the center of controversy several times. This time it is not microtransactions that are discussed, but a serious bug.
Numerous users of Diablo Immortal are in fact having major problems with its Battle Pass, which would be plagued by a technical problem that leads players not to get experience points as they level up. The situation is such that someone has even reported the loss of 5 million XP, and in general, through social media, there are many voices complaining of similar problems.
Blizzard is not only aware of the situation, but theoretically, on the day of July 25 it also published a hotfix aimed at solving the bug, also confirmed in a post on Reddit that the lost XP would finally reach all the players affected by the technical problem. However, again through the same forum, many fans report how the bug is still present and, therefore, continue to receive no experience despite the progress made.
It, therefore, seems that the developers will have to work a little more in an attempt to find a definitive solution and ensure the smooth running of the games for all players. Meanwhile, Diablo Immortal has arrived in China, proving to be a great success in this area as well.
