As promised by the developers a few weeks ago, Season 2 of Diablo Immortal has welcomed the functionality entitled ‘class change’, which allows players to have a more varied gaming experience and to adapt to various needs during the endgame.
What is class change?
For the uninitiated, the class change is a feature that the developers of Diablo Immortal have announced even before the debut of free-to-play on PC, Android and iOS. It is a mechanic through which players can change the class of the character in use without having to create one from scratch.
This way you can switch to a different type of hero with a set of equipment of the character level and start accumulating legendary or set pieces from that point, with the possibility of reusing all the accumulated excellence points.
How to change class
The first useful requirement to change class in Diablo Immortal is to reach experience level 35. At this point, it will be possible to visit the Heart of the Brand and go to the Basilica of Selynne, at the bottom of which there is now a particular brazier called Changing Flameswith which the character can interact with a simple click.
This will open a new menu through which to select the new class: if you are selecting a character type for the first time, before starting to play you can also customize its physical appearance thanks to the editor. This means that you can create a different character for each of the available classes and, should you decide to return to using it, you will end up with the same hero you played previously.
This mechanic can be used once a week and there is no way to speed up the cooldown through microtransactions. It should also be noted that changing class does not change the membership of a Brigade, but resets some rankings, such as that of Challenge Rifts. Those who have also purchased a skin will not be able to use it in classes other than those for which they added it to the inventory.
