The Mozilla Firefox browser is about to introduce a feature called Quick Actions. Users can enter commands directly on the address bar, such as “view page source code”, “open browser settings” and so on. Quick Actions can speed up certain actions in Firefox, assisting users to perform various tasks from the address bar.
Google introduced the Quick Actions feature for the Chrome browser in 2020, allowing users to enter and execute commands such as “manage passwords”, “clear browsing data”, and “translate pages” directly on the address bar.
Mozilla’s implementation is similar. Firefox users can type commands directly on the address bar, and the Quick Actions feature will display suggested command tasks. For example, when a user visits a website, when you enter the word “view” in the address bar, the command option “view page source code” will appear.
