Metacritic has compiled the ranking of the best games of 2022 for PS5, PS4, Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch. At the top of the top 10, which does not include remakes, remasters, re-editions, or conversions of previously released titles, we naturally find Elden Ring; but what are the other names? Let’s find out together.
- Elden Ring
- Neon White
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge
- AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative
- NORCO
- Horizon Forbidden West
- OlliOlli World
- Gran Turismo 7
- Total War: Warhammer 3
- Citizen Sleeper
As mentioned, Elden Ring, defined an incredible game by the votes of international reviews, checks a top 10 that sees in second place the surprising Neon White, first-person action for PC and Nintendo Switch that we too have rewarded with a very good evaluation.
Third place, however, is also a big surprise: we find the retro-style scrolling brawler Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, which seems to have really thrilled everyone, while the top 5 is completed by AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative and the little known Norco.
Then we find Horizon Forbidden West, welcomed with excellent marks by the press, the frenetic OlliOlli World and another PlayStation exclusive, Gran Turismo 7, which, however, has caused a lot of discussion after the launch.
