The weighty collaborations on Fortnite continue: after the announcement of the arrival on Fortnite of a Fall Guys skin dedicated to Major Pancake, we discover today that Epic Games has started a partnership with KAWS, a well-known New York artist, for a costume of the all-new.
The skin in question is called Kawspeely and has been available since July 2nd. As the name of the costume suggests, which is the union between the artist’s pseudonym (KAWS) and Peely, one of Fortnite’s most beloved characters, the skin is just another alternative version of Peely himself.
Obviously, this time around Peely will be redesigned in KAWS style, after the artist has already teamed up with Epic Games for another series of aesthetic items for Fortnite characters, which among other things also included the KAWS Back Bling.
In addition to Kawspeely’s skin, however, the collaboration between EPIC and KAWS has also led to the availability on Fortnite of another outfit, namely the KAWS Skeleton Outfit, inspired by the artist’s sculptures and which, again as the name implies, is a dressed skeleton that can be used in different colors, such as Green, Pink, Bone-Color (ie a “yellowed” white) and Orange. The Peely outfit, on the other hand, will be available in Gray Days and Noir Nights colors and will consist of three different parts.
In addition, KAWS will receive an island of its own in the creative mode of Fortnite: the island aims to recreate the KAWS and Serpentine Hub launched a few months at the Serpentine North Gallery in London. The installation includes numerous works by KAWS, including paintings, sculptures and even some augmented reality works. You can access the island with the code 9441-7852-6686. In the meantime, however, you can find out if Fortnite is still the most famous Battle Royale in the world or if it has been surpassed by other titles.
