According to information discovered by Reddit enthusiast u/Leopeva64-2, Chrome is about to introduce “Partial Translate,” which allows users to select text on the browser and translate only what they choose. This is useful if you don’t need to translate an entire page or if the page contains multiple languages.
Currently, Chrome’s translation applies to the entire page, not a segment selected by the user. With this new feature, you can translate only the parts you want. Also, you will be able to switch between languages easily without having to dig into your settings to add them as there will be a drop-down menu to switch between detected languages and many other scrollable lists to choose from.
