Diablo 4 will not be released until next year, luckily it is possible to pass the wait by continuing to play Diablo 2 Resurrected, which is preparing to receive another important update.
On Wednesday, June 29, Diablo 2 Resurrected will receive Patch 2.4.3, which aims to introduce a variety of new features and updates designed to improve multiplayer lobbies on consoles and PC.
To provide additional options for those who want to join a game, the maximum number of sessions that can appear in the Game List at one time will be doubled from 20 to 40. On consoles, new ways to create and find games will be provided, which will replace the group search: players, by pressing the Play button in the main online hero menu, will find three options to play, namely Private, Game Creator and Game List.
On PC instead, a search function will be added in the lobby, thanks to which it will be possible to write specific keywords or names to obtain a list of games based on the search terms.
These features will be accompanied by general fixes and improvements, which can be consulted in detail in the official Patch 2.4.3 changelog, and by a Magic Finds Bonus: from June 30th to July 4th, a mysterious energy source will provide a 50% bonus. to magical finds, increasing the chance to obtain magical, rare, set, or unique equipment as loot from slain enemies. The bonus will add to any magic find bonuses provided by items already owned.
GENERAL IMPROVEMENTS:
Gameplay
- It is now possible to start a new Whirlwind, Leap, or Power Leap immediately after a Whirlwind ends.
- Changed the logic for determining how often Whirlwind attacks happen. The ability now incorporates the attack speed increase from all gear. Frames between Whirlwind’s attacks are equal to the attack frames of one basic attack for that character (modified based on attack speed). When fighting with two weapons, a rounded average will be made between the attack frames of both weapons. Whirlwind’s attacks will be at least twice as fast overall as before. Slower weapons will attack significantly faster.
- Added the Loot in Cube skill for controllers to the General Skills menu. Using the skill on an object will pick it up and place it in the Horadric Cube, in case there is space.
- Added an assignable mouse and keyboard command to open the Horadric Cube directly if it is in the Inventory.
- Added a new shortcut to open the Horadric Cube from the Inventory menu.
- Features can now be bulk-assigned using a controller.
- A confirmation window will now appear while bulk assignment of remaining features on both PC and console. This option is not available when using Classic graphics.
- Added the option Automatic opening of the self-map to allow you to set the position of the preferred Automap.
