A video published by MxBenchamarkPC compares Cyberpunk 2077 with the mod that enables FSR 2.0 with the basic version, which officially supports DLSS and FSR 1.0.
As reported in previous news, the mod in question was made by PotatoOfDoom, therefore it is an unofficial integration, but as we can see from the video the results are undoubtedly positive. Especially since the mod is still a “work in progress”.
The video comparison was made using a configuration with i7 10700F and RTX 3080. The resolution is set to 1440p, with Ultra ray tracing and settings at maximum. The modded FSR 2.0 has been set to Quality, the DLSS 2.4.3 to Quality and the official FSR 1.0 to Ultra Quality.
As we can see, the DLSS is undoubtedly the best option, but the FSR 2.0 is not that far away in terms of visual rendering and certainly superior to the official 1.0, at the cost of a handful of fps less than average.
Staying on the subject, apparently part of the blame for the bugs present at the launch of Cyberpunk 2077 could be from a QA Testing company.
