The major companies engaged in creating their own Metaverse seem to be agreeing to establish some common guidelines for the regulation of these new environments and technologies, through the Metaverse Standard Forum.
It is a forum of various technology companies, established with the aim of studying common rules for the construction of the metaverse. Inside we find, among others:

- Microsoft
- Sony
- Huawei
- Epic Games
- Ikea
- Unity
- Qualcomm

It is clear that the main actors of this new race in the metaverse seem to be part of this Metaverse Standard Forum, so it will be interesting to follow its developments. The concept is similar to that of a kind of consortium, in which the various components seek a set of common rules on the basis of which to develop this new technology.
