Following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision in Roe v. Wade, Bungie announced an update on employee medical benefits and affiliate content. The official statement: Bungie is committed to ensuring that every one of our employees and their families has safe and affordable access to essential health care needs.

As we continue to expand our digital-first workplace standards to other states, we will now implement a travel reimbursement program for any employee or their dependents to use when they live where they don’t have access to the health care they need.

Although many states will now ban abortion, the new program will compensate employees who are forced to seek out-of-state help. Bungie’s tools engineers tweeted more details on how the new program will work:

In response to today’s news, Bungie has added a new medical benefit to its employees. “Unavailable travel reimbursement for health care”. It includes sex reassignment surgery and, of course, abortion.
