Xbox Series X | S surpasses PS5 in the Japanese sales chart as of mid-June 2022

Speaking of the latter, we can see that Xbox Series X | S was able to surpass PS5 sales for the week of mid-June 2022. Here is the sales ranking (total sales to date in brackets):

  • Xbox Series S – 3,423 (130,076)
  • Xbox Series X – 3,272 (108,983)
  • PlayStation 5 – 2,371 (1,451,795)
  • PlayStation 5 Digital Edition – 664 (242,208)
  • New 2DS LL (including 2DS) – 215 (1,187,058)
  • PlayStation 4 – 18 (7,819,701)

Of course, Xbox Series X | S and PS5 sales are also determined by the number of stocks available. Both platforms could sell more if they had more units available. To suffer, according to the data, is above all PS5 Digital. Of course, to date, the latter has still sold more than the Xbox Series X and S combined, but for the reference period, the numbers are very low.
