After launching a new brick-and-mortar store in New York last week, the US online Google Store now also offers a number of items in a dedicated “Ideas + Information” section that resembles a blog. The Mountain View company says the new section will help users save time, stay connected, and get the most out of their Google products.
Google Store adds the “Ideas + Information” section
The novelty is accessible from the bottom of the Google Store and highlights some items at the top followed by the videos chosen by the editors, while other content is listed via a carousel.
At the bottom of the page, there is a section for sharing, mainly on Instagram, your photos via #TeamPixel, to have the opportunity to see them published in the foreground within the section itself.
Here are some examples of content:
- Take even better sunset photos
- Bye-bye, spotty Wi-Fi. How a mesh network can help.
- A day in the life of a smart home
- Pixel 6 features you didn’t know you had
- Tips to save even more with your Nest thermostat
- Helping deaf people join the conversation with Pixel phones
- How an AI camera can make everyone’s photos better
- 7 ways a smart home can help seniors
- How one family turned their new home into a smart home
- Host your next dinner party with the help of Google Assistant routines
- 4 ways to stay connected to your kids at home
At the moment we have no information on whether and to what extent this section will also be added to the Italian Google Store.
