Without particular hype, Blizzard Entertainment has set the launch window for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, the highly anticipated new expansion of the most successful MMORPG of all time.

The Irvine House quietly updated the expansion launch window within the store page, setting it to a period prior to December 31, 2022. This is certainly vague information since we are not talking about a precise date, but that at least confirms the arrival of the expansion by the end of this year. This is certainly good news for the most pessimistic fans, who feared they might not be able to play Dragonflight until next year.

The new expansion, remember, will invite players to join the Dragonflight of Azeroth in their return to the Dragon Islands, a lost realm full of magic and mystery where the Dracthyr Summoners reside, a new class and a new race of dragons from a humanoid aspect ready to join the ranks of the Horde or the Alliance.

Dragonflight will raise the level cap to 70 and, among other things, will also introduce new Expeditions and a new Incursion set in the ancient prison of the Primordial Incarnations. Pre-orders are already open on Battle.net for the Basic (€ 49.99), Eroica (€ 69.99) and Epica (€ 89.99) editions. If you haven’t already, sign up for the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Beta.
