In addition to confirming that Overwatch 2 will not have loot boxes, Blizzard Entertainment has finally unveiled the list of contents available at the launch of its new hero shooter, which we remember will be made available in free-to-play format starting from 4 October.

Blizzard first confirmed that Overwatch 2 will be based on a Seasons structure, and each of them will last for a total of 9 weeks. A new hero will be launched every two Seasons, and new modes, maps and other content will be systematically added.

Season 1 of Overwatch 2 will include 3 new heroes, including Sojourn, the Queen of the Junker and another character not yet revealed. Players will have 6 new maps at their disposal, will be able to test the Push mode, and indulge themselves with more than 30 new skins (there will also be the new Mythic rarity level) and other cosmetic items.

The roadmap foresees in Season 2 the introduction of a new Tank Hero, a new map, over 30 new skins (including a Mythic), and a new Battle Pass. During Season 3, new heroes, maps, modes, over 100 skins and PvE modes, scheduled for 2023, will arrive.

Blizzard offers players the Overwatch 2 Watchpoint Pack, the purchase of which grants you access to exclusive content such as the Legendary Hero skins, the Overwatch 2 player icon, virtual currency, as well as immediate access to the beta of the game. The cost of the package is € 39.99.

The Overwatch 2 Beta will start on June 28 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Battle.net: interested players can follow this address and sign up for the trial version to get a taste of the renewed PvP of Overwatch.
