God of War: Ragnarok may have received another confirmation on the release in 2022, considering that in the past few hours some official merchandising products connected to the game have also reappeared, with a release scheduled for October 2022.
Obviously, this can’t be taken as a precise indication of the game’s release, but it sure is another clue that God of War: Ragnarok shouldn’t be very far at this point.
It is not the first time that we see these items for sale and they had already been removed previously, perhaps due to the lengthening of development times on the game which also led to the first postponement from 2021 to 2022.
In this case, it is a T-shirt and a couple of plush-type puppets, referring to some animals that are present in the game. The first time these objects appeared with released was in September 2022, then they were removed and finally reappeared with release in October 2022.
Obviously, the release of the official merchandising on the market does not necessarily correspond to the release of the game itself, but there may not be a great distance between one thing and another. The idea, in short, is that if these products are scheduled for October then probably God of War Ragnarok could also arrive at least by the end of 2022.
Just yesterday, Cory Barlog also resurfaced on Twitter to suggest that the release date may be coming soon, so we’re looking forward to it.
