Samsung is developing a new rugged smartphone. Whether it will be called the Galaxy Xcover Pro 2 or the Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is not entirely clear yet, but what is clear is the design of the phone. And now the outdoor smartphone is shown in the final press photos.
Now the official press photos of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro 5G have surfaced online, indicating an imminent launch. The model has a vertical stripe pattern on the back, while the edges of the phone feature deeper grooves.
The back of the phone houses a dual-camera setup with a red metal finish surrounding each sensor. And from the looks of it, the back panel is removable, which could mean the battery is removable too.
The robustness of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 6 Pro 5G is even more evident on the front. The device has thick bezels and the lip surrounding the display seems to stick out a bit to protect the panel in the event of a fall.
The model also has a power button, a volume rocker and two additional, configurable hardware buttons. The phone also has a USB-C port on the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone jack on the top.
