Lei Jun has now teased the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra on Twitter, albeit rather unofficially. The Xiaomi co-founder published a photo on Twitter showing an old Leica camera of his. The photo was taken with the Xiaomi 11 Ultra, which should serve as a further indication of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra.
If the latest tweet isn’t meant to be a clear nod to the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra, then I don’t know what is. It can hardly be more obvious. Even if it is of course not yet an official teaser from Xiaomi for its upcoming flagship.
Found my old Leica in a box of camera equipment and cleaned it carefully. It’s been many years since I shot any photos with it, but I think it’s time for me to pick it up again. pic.twitter.com/q5nLP0xxIk

“I found my old Leica in a camera gearbox and cleaned it carefully. It’s been many years since I’ve shot with it, but I think it’s about time I picked it up again.”
There is now also a new render video for the upcoming Xiaomi 12 Ultra, which is now said to be based on the latest information. The design has been known for months, but the leaders don’t seem to agree on where the Leica logo will be placed. Because some of them can be found right under the huge camera hump, here on the top right.
