Halo: Infinite’s large-scale cooperative campaign update is expected to launch in August when players can experience the game’s story with friends. Players who have joined the Halo Insider program can experience co-op a month early, and developer 343i has now announced that the public beta of the co-op campaign will take place in July.
There’s no cost to joining Halo Insider, but even joining the program doesn’t guarantee you’ll qualify for the test.

The Halo Infinite roadmap, released in April, pointed to a co-op campaign released in late August, and so far, 343i has not indicated any extension to that timeline. Online co-op will be available first, with split-screen co-op coming later this year. Another highly anticipated addition is Halo’s Forge mode, which is still expected to enter public beta in September.
