iOS 16 makes it easier to manage connected AirPods and Beats headphones by adding a new section in Settings when connecting accessories. In iOS 15, this requires accessing the AirPods settings by opening the Bluetooth interface and tapping the “i” next to the AirPods listing. This is obviously a hidden menu and is difficult to find for those who are not particularly familiar with the iPhone.
In iOS 16 and iPad OS 16, if a set of AirPods is paired to an iOS device, users can see a new AirPods Settings app right below the name, which makes it easier to access various adjustments options.
Plus, users can still access the same settings in the Bluetooth menu and see AirPods info under General > About This Mac. AirPods settings have been changed, and on supported models, there are direct options to set up Personalized Spatial Audio and view AirPods in Find My.
