Apple has introduced a new “Rapid Security Response” feature in iOS 16 designed to make it easier and faster for enterprise customers to deploy security updates. Specifically, users will not need to perform security fixes with a full iOS update, as the action can be set to be done automatically and can be applied automatically between standard software updates.
In addition, the new feature allows Apple to automatically deploy on many devices, and users can even complete the installation of security updates without feeling. Interested friends, you can see a new “Install System and Data Files” option under the “Settings → General → Software Update” page to enable “Automatic Security Updates” independent of the overall iOS update.
For those who don’t want to deploy security updates quickly (such as iOS jailbreak software users), this setting can also be toggled to avoid all security updates being automatically installed. However, it should be noted that this feature is enabled by default on iOS 16. So if you’re not interested, remember to turn it off manually.
