Assassin’s Creed: Origins next-gen console 60fps patch went live a few days ago, and the update brings a silky 60fps experience to XSS|X and PS5. According to the blogger, the game runs in backward compatibility mode and this patch only unlocks 60 fps. Limited by the PS4 Pro’s screen settings, the PS5’s maximum resolution is 1620p. The XSX stays at 2160p almost the entire time, and the XSS is at 1080p. The game has faster loading times on XSS|X compared to PS5.
