A few days ago, Microsoft released the latest stable version of its Chromium-based Edge browser. Surprisingly, the latest update doesn’t include any new features, but it seems to be causing problems when trying to print.
Some early users complained that they were facing some printing issues in Microsoft Edge after they updated their browser to version 102. For many people, accessing and printing any file with the latest stable version of Edge is no longer possible.
It is believed that these issues may plague some localized versions of Microsoft Edge. However, quite a few administrators and users trying to print from the English and French versions of Windows reports that the problem exists on all versions. Most users of Edge v102 seem to be facing issues when printing files.
Well… my entire org can’t print PDFs, now. Not like we don’t avg 10-20,000 prints per damn day or anything (load tags on shipments) https://t.co/MHT2174bZX

It’s unclear what’s causing this problem, and there’s no solution yet. Some users claim that downgrading Microsoft Edge to version 101 fixes the problem, but there are also conflicting reports about the issue. Older versions of Microsoft Edge installers (for all supported desktop platforms) are available from the Microsoft Edge Business Downloads site. However, downgrading is not an easy process. It involves several tricks and may cause more problems.
Google Chrome has also reached version 102, and there have been no reports of printing issues with this Chromium-based browser. Therefore, affected users can try to print their files using Chrome or other browsers.
