Xiaomi and Leica recently announced that they will jointly develop new smartphones. The first smartphone from the collaboration was announced in July. But you did not reveal which smartphone you will present.
It will probably be the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Before the official announcement, however, some new information about the design and the material of the flagship was leaked.
According to Digital Chat Station’s latest Weibo post, the new Xiaomi 12 Ultra could come in two color variants, one in black with a polished leather cover and one in white with textured ceramic glass on the back.
The main highlight of the smartphone will be its camera system. Xiaomi’s new partnership with Leica will definitely take the Xiaomi 12 Ultra’s camera to a new level. The smartphone has a unique “Oreo”-like camera island and houses at least 3 lenses. It will likely have a 200MP main sensor, supported by an ultra-wide-angle sensor and a macro sensor.
The front of the new Xiaomi Mi 12 Ultra will likely feature a curved OLED display. In addition, the smartphone is expected to feature the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, as well as 120W fast charging and a 4,900mAh battery.
