The very first Google Pixel Watch is coming out in the fall, and until then some important information seems to be leaking out. This also includes a few details that can say more about everyday use. Although you have to be careful with it because every user uses different apps and has a different everyday life with their smart gadgets.
A lot is already known about the Google Pixel Watch. Including the rather old processor, which, however, should not be that outdated due to further developments by Google. Still, we shouldn’t count on miraculous battery life. You can’t pull them out of a hat even on Google. Well-informed insiders from really good sources are now commenting on the expected battery life for the first time.
The battery in the Google Pixel Watch: Miracles are not to be expected
It is said that the Pixel Watch should last about a day with its 300 mAh battery. However, there is no information about the conditions under which this happens. Is always-on display enabled and is the Google Assistant always listening? The latter can put a strong negative strain on the battery. Basically, the battery life of one day is not exceptional, neither negative nor positive.
Everyone uses their Smartwatch a little differently
I myself use the Galaxy Watch 4 from Samsung and AOD and can sometimes get through two days with one battery charge. Others are not at all satisfied with the battery life of the latest Samsung watch. And so at this point opinions differ. I say let’s just hope the Pixel Watch doesn’t perform noticeably worse than other Wear OS devices, that would be enough.
