Snapchat has meanwhile introduced the so-called Shared Stories for its users. This is a new offshoot of Custom Stories. The latter previously enabled Snapchatters to create a story and share it with friends for viewing and editing. Shared stories are practically a further development.
Shared stories and the snaps they contain also disappear after 24 hours. You can add friends for the shared stories, and they can then add other users themselves. So you can then edit a shared story together in a group. According to Snapchat, it is z. B. for families or clubs easier to share stories together.
The shared stories lack a chat, which according to Snapchat was deliberately kept that way. If someone you blocked joins a shared story, you will also receive a notification. Then you can leave the shared stories again if you wish. Snapchat states that they also moderate the shared stories and want to make sure that users feel comfortable.
