It will still be many months before the Google Pixel Tablet, but there are already a few more details today. So far, we’re assuming a tablet that’s priced somewhere in the higher mid-range. In return, Google would like to be able to offer a lot.
Google has now registered a device for USI. USI is the Universal Stylus Initiative, which aims to ensure general standards in the field of digital pens. Google has now certified a tablet for this, as 9to5Google reported last weekend.
Google Pixel Tablet wants to be operated with pens
It is therefore to be expected that the Google Pixel tablet will come with stylus support. The only question is whether Google itself would like to offer a pen. And if so, it should hopefully be able to charge wirelessly. But we will probably only find out about that in the distant future.
