The Google Pixel 7 series that we won’t see until later this year is in the works, and it’s interesting to see that some Pixel 7 prototypes are already for sale on eBay. A seller selling a Pixel 7 prototype is pricing the device at $510; it’s a 128GB Tempest Black colorway, and from the pictures, the device appears to be working and fully functional.
The seller also claims that the prototype is running Android 13 and apps in development and that the device’s IMEI is legal, and the device is unlocked and available on all carriers. Of course, I wouldn’t recommend anyone buying this Pixel 7 as it’s clearly a prototype, and when Google finally got word that it had leaked, they could remotely shut down the device via the IMEI to brick it.
On the other hand, this also confirms that the Pixel 7 series is closer to completion than one might think. Look closely at this listing and you’ll realize one thing, the seller who listed this prototype for sale also happens to own a Pixel 7 Pro. There is clearly a Pro version in the reflection reflected in the picture, not sure if the seller intends to sell the Pro prototype as well.
