During the event dedicated to GT Neo 2 Global, the Asian company took advantage of the stage to turn the spotlight on the new Realme UI 3.0, based on Android 12, revealing all the news coming with its renewed proprietary interface: here’s what changes with the next major update and which smartphones are supported, along with details regarding the release of the update.
Realme UI 3.0 official with Android 12: everything you need to know
The new version of the brand’s UI arrives under the name Realme UI 3.0 and offers various improvements in terms of style. The user interfaces in general – the home screen, quick settings and more – and navigation are smoother thanks to the use of what is called Fluid Space Design: a simple and effective look, more fluid in terms of performance.
The update also brings with it new icons and wallpapers; speaking of the icons, they gain a sort of 3D effect thanks to the use of shadows and shades, with enhanced colors. Realme has seen fit to offer a more customizable AOD: for devices that support the Always-On Display, it is possible to take advantage of the Canvas function, similar to what has been seen for OnePlus devices.
Another novelty concerns the introduction of Omoji: these are emoticons created using the Face Capture algorithm, capable of creating a virtual image based on 50 main expressions. Our 3D alter ego can be enhanced with over 200 clothing elements and up to 10 traits can be customized (including skin tone, hair, eyes, and so on).
There are also improvements for the Phone Manager (to optimize performance and eliminate unnecessary files), for Privacy and for sharing photos and other files. Finally, we return to performance: the Realme UI 3.0 is equipped with an AI engine dedicated to animations, the floating windows (2.0) gain graphics and management improvements and thanks to the memory optimizations it was possible to obtain a 13% improvement for the start. of apps and 12% for battery life.
