A few days after the official debut of the hack ‘n’ slash, Blizzard Entertainment has released further details on Diablo Immortal, and in particular on the presence or absence of server migration and on other features integrated into the game.
As reported by Blizzard’s Adam Fletcher, Diablo Immortal will not allow you to switch servers or play with other people on servers other than your own. The Diablo community leader advised demon hunter teams to coordinate and choose which one to join before starting their own descent into the underworld.
Once chosen, you can only play there and it will not even be possible to transfer the character. In any case, the possibility of migrating could come in the future, as suggested by Fletcher at the end of his message. Importantly, this only applies to the main Diablo Immortal campaign, as Battlegrounds, the dedicated PvP mode, will allow you to play with friends on different servers.
RE: Diablo Immortal Servers
Yes – Coordinate with friends on where you want to play! There isn’t cross server play with Immortal as each server has their own Immortals/Shadows/Adventurer groups.
Maybe that changes in the future but for launch you will play solely w/ your server

It was also confirmed that Diablo Immortal will support controllers on both mobile and PC and that transcriptions of voice messages and text-to-speech will be integrated so that both text and audio can be communicated.
Blizzard has opened the preload of Diablo Immortal and the opening hours of the servers have already been revealed.
