A few days after the official reveal of the 2.7 version of Genshin Impact, which has suffered several weeks of delay, Hoyoverse has decided to announce well in advance the release date of the next free-to-play patch, which will bring the free title to 2.8.
According to what was declared by the eastern software house on the official website, the 2.8 updates of Genshin Impact are scheduled for 13 July 2022, or exactly six weeks after the publication of the next update.
While this announcement is not surprising given the identical duration of all game updates, it is clear that such a post is intended to allay the concerns of users, who fear another postponement in the middle of the summer.
We remind you that in version 2.8 of Genshin Impact we will meet Shikanoin Heizou, probably the first 5-star Anemo-type hero to wield a catalyst. It is also possible that this update is the last one before the long-awaited arrival of Sumeru, a region of the map that should make its debut in version 3.0 between the end of August and the beginning of September.
