Konami has announced the eight teams that will take part in the eFootball Championship Pro 2022, but Juventus will not be there: evidently, the exclusive contract has not been renewed by the parties.
A few weeks after the debut of eFootball 2022 v1.0.0, the football game, therefore, opens the doors to eSports competitions with a championship divided into two categories: eFootball Championship Pro and eFootball Championship Open.
eFootball Championship Pro will last three weeks and will see eight of the best European clubs pitting their professional esports teams,” reads the press release. “The clubs that will participate in this year’s tournament are: FC Barcelona, Manchester United, FC Bayern München, Arsenal, Celtic FC, AS Monaco, AS Roma and Galatasaray.

KONAMI will broadcast the tournament live on eFootball social channels, during the live broadcast a campaign will be active that will allow tuned users to obtain in-game items.
eFootball Championship Pro will also be supported by a series of campaigns by the Clubs involved and which will give fans the opportunity to win prizes after each match.
eFootball Championship Open is a public competition in which all eFootball 2022 users will be able to take part and compete on different platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and Steam.
This year, players will be able to participate in the eFootball Championship Open World Finals on mobile, iOS and Android devices as well.
