Today, Apple released the 146 update of the Safari Technology Preview, an experimental browser launched by Apple in March 2016. Apple designed the Safari Technical Preview to test features that may be introduced into the official version of Safari in the future.
Apple Safari Technical Preview 146 includes bug fixes and performance improvements for Web Inspector, CSS, JavaScript, Forms, Media, Rendering, Scrolling, HTML, Shared Worker, Service Worker, Web API, Accessibility and Security.
The current Safari Technical Preview builds on the Safari 15.4 update, including the Safari 15 features introduced in macOS Monterey. Safari Technical Preview updates are available through System Preferences – Software Update to users who have downloaded the browser.
Apple launched the Safari Technology Preview to gather feedback from developers and users on the browser development process. The Safari Technology Preview runs side-by-side with the existing Safari browser and is designed for developers, but can be used without a developer account.
