At today’s Taipei Computer Show, Samsung launched the new Odyssey Neo G7 and G8 4K Mini LED monitors. Both the Odyssey Neo G7 and G8 are equipped with 31.5-inch 4K Mini LED panels, the former can provide a 165Hz refresh rate, and the latter can provide a 240Hz refresh rate.
This series of Mini LED panels feature 1196 dimming zones and supports NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility Mode and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro. The Odyssey Neo G7 will offer 1,000 nits of peak brightness, while the Odyssey Neo G8 will double that to 2,000 nits of brightness.
In addition, this series of monitors can also achieve 4096-level (12-bit) brightness control to achieve more detailed and perfect black details, and provide HDMI 2.1 x 2, DP 1.4 x 1 and other interfaces.
According to Wccftech, the launch date of the Samsung Odyssey Neo G8 is June this year, with a suggested retail price of $1,500. Expect the Odyssey Neo G7 to sell for less.
