While Testusya Nomura and Akiko Ishibashi work on Kingdom Hearts 4, poor Sora suddenly finds himself inside a Taco Bell commercial. The well-known fast food chain that offers pizza with a Mexican twist has in fact published a truly bizarre advertisement.
The spot that you can view directly at the bottom of this news has found space on the company’s official social channels . With a peculiar jingle, Taco Bell calls into question the protagonist of the Square Enix home series, who is expressly mentioned in the song. With a bizarre rhyme between “soda” and “Sora”, the multinational company seems to hide several Kingdom Hearts fans in its marketing department.
The advertising, however, does not appear to have explicit links with Square Enix: we feel therefore to exclude – perhaps? – that Sora may end up in a Taco Bell themed world within Kingdom Hearts 4. As for what will be the worlds of Kingdom Hearts 4, we still do not know where Tetsuya Nomura is going to go, but the options are really many.
Thanks to the partnership with Disney, Square Enix could in fact decide to venture beyond the boundaries of animated classics and Pixar films, to aim instead at the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars.
