Samsung recently launched several May 2022 patch updates in most countries including the US, Korea and others. Now, the latest May 2022 patch update released for the Galaxy S22 Ultra users.
This update mainly fixes the S-Pen suddenly disconnecting issues with S Pen in certain scenarios. This may occur if the Near Device/Physical Activity access permission settings of the S Pen Air Command app are reset on Android S OS. Please do one of the following to fix it.
Action method
- (If you see the S Pen disconnected notification in the notification window after removing and reinserting the S Pen) Select the S Pen disconnected notification in the notification window, and then reconnect the S Pen by allowing the Air Command’s Nearby Device item permission to do it.
☞ Notification window → Select S Pen disconnected notification → Allow permission
- Select Reset S Pen in your phone’s settings, then allow permission and connect again.
☞ Settings → Useful Features → S Pen → Air Actions → More (three vertical dots) → Reset S Pen → Allow permission and reconnect
