Okay, Google keeps it weird how some things are revealed. This time there is a very first video of the Google Pixel 6a via a French channel. As the name suggests, the channel is actually about sales training for shops. So it makes perfect sense that the Google Pixel 6a is unboxed here. However, at an unusual time – exactly two months before the market launch.
In fact, the video is probably from April 27th, you can see the date once on the display. At this point, the Google Pixel 6a still has three months to go. We are therefore hardly surprised by large leaks when the device and its finished packaging are already on the move behind the scenes so early. Funny why the actual market launch is delayed so much. This is also planned for July 21 here in Germany.
New fingerprint sensor in the first Google Pixel 6a video
The video also shows the fingerprint sensor in action, which is known to be different hardware than in the Google Pixel 6. However, it doesn’t seem faster to me in this first short example. The pixel stand is probably only used in the video to present the device for presentation. There is no wireless charging in the Google Pixel 6a.
