In the foreseeable future, Google Pay will have a new name and possibly some cool new features. In a session at Google I/O, the people from Google Pay and Google Wallet chatted a bit about the future. A new feature was hinted at that will automatically select the right credit card for you when rewards may be available.
So if you use several different credit cards/debit cards for this very reason, you no longer have to deal with ongoing bonus campaigns yourself. Google Pay automatically selects the card with the most attractive rewards. Cool thing, but not set in stone yet. And German customers will certainly have to wait a long time for this.
