At the end of 2021, the confirmation had arrived that the next-gen patch of Assassin’s Creed Origins was coming, although then no further clarifications have arrived from Ubisoft, as it has not yet been confirmed on the day of publication. But something is moving.
According to what was discovered by the Twitter page PlayStation Game Size is always very active when it comes to signaling in advance new patches and relative weight for each thick game, the Update 1.60 for Bayek ‘s adventure in Ancient Egypt would have been regularly loaded.
In the PlayStation database, and its release would be scheduled for a period between 24 and 26 May 2022. The new update is expected to implement the much-anticipated 60fps on PlayStation 5, as well as an unspecified “franchise menu”.

Although it is not mentioned by PlayStation Game Size, it is highly probable that the same Update will be made available to enable the same functions also on Xbox Series X / S, taking an effective technical step forward to the work originally released on PC, PS4 . and Xbox One in 2017. At this point, definitive confirmations are expected from Ubisoft, which should not be long in the coming.
Recall that in the course of 2021 Assassin’s Creed Odyssey also received the upgrade to 60fps on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S, waiting for Origins to reach it too.
