If you want to test new functions a little earlier, you can also register for the beta version with Google apps. The program is currently being expanded. So far, of course, this public beta version has not been available for all Google apps, but the company is currently working on it. The beta program has now been added for a total of six apps.
As mentioned, by participating in the beta you can try the next app version of the respective Android app sooner. It is loaded onto your device as normal via the Google Play Store. Also means possible earlier access to new features of the respective app. However, even the beta is not always error-free – you have to be able to live with that.
