Oppo has confirmed via Weibo that the new smartphones of the Reno8 series will be presented on May 23, 2022. Three new models are expected: the Reno8 SE, Reno8 and the flagship Reno8 Pro. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor could work in the Reno8. The MediaTek Dimensity 8100 is currently expected for the Pro model.
Other technical data of the Oppo Reno8 Pro should include an AMOLED display with a diagonal of 6.62 inches and FHD+ as resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate plus a battery with 4,500 mAh and 80-watt charging. The main camera could use the Sony IMX766 with 50 megapixels and OIS for wide-angle shots. Additional camera sensors for the back are 8 (ultra wide-angle) + 2 (macro) megapixels.
A leaked photo, notable for its blurriness, is said to already show the Oppo Reno8 Pro. The design is then very reminiscent of the Find X5 Pro . Let’s wait and see, it won’t be long until the performance.
