The release of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series is already scheduled for this year and something should change after several years of model maintenance. According to a report, Samsung no longer wants to offer a classic model in the future. So far, classic on the Galaxy Watch has stood for a rotating bezel, which is reminiscent of a classic watch. That will probably go away.
Three models have now emerged. There is an S model that is 40 to 42mm. An L model should be 44 to 46 mm in size. Last but not least, there is a Pro version that could be called the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Ultra in stores. But no matter what the name, Samsung obviously wants to be able to meet the highest demands on a Wear OS smartwatch.
To date, it is not really known what the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro/Ultra is capable of. Or how tall she is. In principle, the devices of the new generation have larger batteries, but of course, this also means more weight. Samsung has very likely scrapped the model with a rotating bezel for good.
Another piece of news comes from the Ice Universe, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will be equipped with the Titanium and Sapphire Glass. Great to see that Samsung uses more premium materials in their devices.

Instead, there should be a Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro with a fairly large battery. Samsung probably hits the nail on the head with this. I don’t think it makes sense to imitate the design of classic watches, as has been tried again and again in recent years. In my opinion, Samsung is therefore on the right track.
