Google has built a replacement for Google Pay and is digging up an old name for it. Google Wallet is back, the new app has been introduced. One of the most important cornerstones of Google Wallet is of course the basic functions of Google Pay – mobile payment, for example. Google Wallet should also be a vaccination card, have your driver’s license with you, flight tickets and much more.
Google Wallet also replaces Google Pay here in Germany
Google Wallet is smartly connected to other Google apps. Tickets for public transport, for example, are available directly in the Google Maps route planner. According to the plan, this should also be available in Germany. Let’s see which of the functions will actually be available later in Germany. Google Wallet for Android is scheduled to launch later this year.
