EA has announced plans to release the game in the fiscal year 2023 (April 1, 2022, to March 31, 2023), and in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2023 they will release a “significant IP and a remastered game”. The so-called “partner game” may refer to “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2” (after all, it was produced with Disney), and it was previously reported that “Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2” will be available only on PC and current-gen consoles, and will be released in 2023.

EA’s other upcoming games include Apex Legends Mobile, which launches this month, and F1 22, which launches on July 1. In addition, EA’s recently announced new game “The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth” will also be released in fiscal 2023.
In the past 12 months ending March 31, 2022, EA said their player network grew 16% compared to last year to more than 580 million unique active accounts, including 150 million FIFA accounts. Earlier today, EA confirmed the end of a long-term copyright partnership with FIFA, and from 2023, “FIFA” will be renamed the “EA Sports FC” series.
