While Cyberpunk 2077 was disastrous in its early release, many fans have regained their love for the game as the game has continued to be updated and improved. Recently, a fan decided to imagine what it would look like if the masterpiece was turned into a horizontal pixel scrolling game, which attracted the enthusiastic attention of fans in the cyberpunk community.
Twitter user RealShortGuy13 recently shared two screenshots showing what their fantasy Cyberpunk 2077 would look like. The first screenshot shows the conversation between protagonist V and Jack. The garbage on the street, the gorgeous neon light effects, the side of the outdoor unit by side on the street corner, and the NPCs with different behaviors all bring us back to the familiar night city.

If the first screenshot shaped the peaceful night city, then the second screenshot of RealShortGuy13 brings us back to the tragic battlefield. The picture shows that Silver Hand and Rogge are shooting at Agent Arasaka. Although it is a simple horizontal pixel picture, the muzzle flame and the blood splashing on the agent still create an urgent atmosphere.
Since RealShortGuy13 posted their Cyberpunk 2077 pixel screenshots to Twitter, a large number of fans have expressed their enthusiasm for the Cyberpunk 2077 side-scrolling game. Fans are hoping to officially play this pixel side-scrolling shooter in the future. RealShortGuy13’s latest tweet stated that he has started to develop this fan game, and said that he will try his best to restore the story of “Cyberpunk 2077” under the framework of an RPG and combat system.
