Recently, 3D environment artist Lorenzo Drago used the Unreal Engine 5 to create the environment of the Etsuchu Gate Station in Toyama Prefecture, Japan. He shared demonstration videos and screenshots online, showing the scene of a train station in Toyama prefecture, which is enough to make it real.
The Unreal 5 environment created by Lorenzo Drago is amazing. He said that it took him about a month to create the environment, including collecting reference materials. “I did all the modeling, texturing, lighting and animation,” says Drago, using the Unreal Lumen lighting system but not the Nanite geometry system, but the final product was incredible.
Using VR controls to simulate handheld camera and flashlight movement, the scene looks almost indistinguishable from real-life video. But after turning on the flashlight, the sky instantly turned dark, and the beautiful summer suddenly turned into a horror game. Although there are no ghosts, the audience must be quite nervous.
