The developers of “EVE Online” announced at the FanFest 2022 keynote speech last night, that they will cooperate with Microsoft’s office software Excel. It can export various data to help players view and calculate profit margins, combat strategies, etc., which will make the daily operation of the game more convenient.
Game officials say the partnership with Microsoft is another step toward CCP’s goal of making MMOs (massively multiplayer online games) accessible to casual or seasoned players.
“EVE Online” (“Eve Eve”) is a PC-side online game developed by Icelandic CCP, first published by Simon & Schuster Interactive in May 2003. The work entered China in 2006, during which it experienced many changes in agency operations. It has been operated by NetEase Game Agency since August 1, 2018.
The game takes the grand space as the background and highly integrates hard sci-fi elements, showing players a free virtual universe sandbox world. Players drive various spaceships to shuttle through thousands of star systems and unknown wormhole spaces.
Various activities can be performed in the game’s sandbox universe, including mining, industrial manufacturing, scientific research, financial trade, exploration and archaeology, and PVP/PVE battles. The types of activities that players can engage in increase with the learning of related skills. Even if the player is not online, the learning of skills in the game will continue at any time.
