As outlined by the Fallout 76 Roadmap 2022, soon all explorers of the post-apocalyptic wastes of the Bethesda MMO will be able to leave the borders of Appalachia to enter Pitt. The first Expeditions will take place in preview on the public test server (PTS) in a few days.
To confirm this is the same developers of the subsidiary of Xbox Game Studios with an in-depth analysis on the pages of the official Bethesda website that outlines the content arriving in the role-playing dimension of Fallout 76.
The exploration of the Pitt will be just one of the many activities to be carried out in the Expeditions: access to these endgame missions will take place from the hub of the White spring resort. Those who want to join the crew of the Vertibirds on their way to the Pitt will have to recharge the ultracite battery cell through the three daily missions offered by the Refuge.
Joining an Expedition will therefore kick off a new mission for teams of up to four players: the first Expedition, “For the Union”, will take Rescuers into the depths of the ruined city known to Fallout 3 fans. Without entering into the merits of the activities to be carried out in order not to fall into spoilers, Bethesda merely emphasizes that our task will be to contribute to the reconstruction of the city by defending civilians from the assaults of the Fanatics, a band of marauders constantly looking for shelters to be raided.
Each mission faced in the Expeditions will include no less than three random objectives to complete, an approach that will always make the activities to be carried out varied.
As for rewards, completing each Expedition in Fallout 76 Pitt will provide experience points, rare loot, and a legendary item. Achieving optional objectives will unlock additional rewards such as rare Pitt-themed blueprints, power armor, CAMP items, weapon mods, and more.
